The Clinton Herald Tuesday May 24, 1927 p. 6 Mrs. N.E. Buell, for many years a resident of Lyons, died May 23, at the age of 81 years, at the home of her son, W.C. Buell, in Chicago. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home of her son, Clause Buell, 318 Ninth avenue, South, with Dr. Thomas Horton of St. John's Episcopal church officiating. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery. The pallbearers will be four sons and two grandsons, W.S. Buell, Claude Buell, Logan Buell, Charles Buell, Walter Wedermeier and Creighton Buell. Nancy Ellen Ball was born in Canton, Ill., the daughter of the late William Ball, but had resided for the greater part of her life in Lyons. Of the nine children born to her three are dead. Those living are Mrs. William Wedermeier of Cicero, Ill., W.E. Buell of Chicago, Claude Buell of Clinton, Harvey Buell of Sterling, Logan Buell of Cicero and Charles Buell of Des Moines.
