The Clinton Herald Monday September 27, 1943 p. 8 Mrs. Agnes McEleney, 2424, Pershing boulevarad, died this morning at 8:30 a.m. at the home of her daugher, Mrs. Kenneth Gohlmann, 1718 West Ninth street, Davenport, after an illness of several months. The body will be brought from the Runge funeral home in Clinotn late this afternoon. Funeral services will be in St. Boniface Catholic church Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus-Calvary cemetery. Agnes Bradley was born Nov. 10, 1881, in Grand Junction, Iowa, the daughter of Patrick and Ann Bradley. The family moved to Savanna, Ill., when Agnes was still a small child. She was educated in St. John's parochial school in Savanna. On June 6, 1905, she was married to William E. McEleney, Clinton, who preceded him in death on Oct. 21, 1941. Others of her family to precede her in death were her parents, two brothers, and two sisters. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. John Schultz of Clinton, and Mrs Gohlmann, Davenport; one son, Kenneth McEleney, Newton; one granddaughter, Sharon Gohlmann, Davenport; one sister, Mrs. Thomas Brennan, Savanna; two brothers, Charles Bradley, Perry, Iowa; James Bradley, Quincy, Ill.; several nieces and nephews.
