The Clinton Herald Monday January 13, 1986 p. 10 The funeral for George H. Bott, 79, of 1703 N. 2nd St., was 10:30 a.m. today in St. Paul's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Michael Last officiating. Mr. Bott died Friday in Mercy Hospital. Burial was in Clinton Memorial Park Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were handled by Pape Funeral Home. Pallbearers were David Wagemaster, Larry McElroy, James Young, Dale Bott, Alan Lueders, and Leo Roling. Honorary pallbearers were John McElroy and Louis Jurgunsen. Mr. Bott was born June 6, 1906, in Clinton County, to George and Laura Andersen Bott, Sr. He has retired from farming. He married Anna Lueders, Oct. 5, 1932, in Clinton. Mr. Bott was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the Loyal order of Moose, The Odeon Association and the Clinton County Farm Bureau. Survivors include his wife; and a brother, Peter, of Clinton. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
