The Clinton Herald Saturday September 17, 1983 p. 14 The funeral for Elmer C. Bott, 80, of 3807 N. 3rd St., will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Cannon Funeral Home, with the Rev. Edmond Weeg officiating. Burial will be in Clinton Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Bott died Friday in his home. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday, with a scripture service at 7 p.m. Pallbearers will be Kenny Bott, Wayne Bott, David Schoel, Max Johnson, Ernie Adams and Stanley Leeper. Mr. Bott was born Sept. 1, 1903, in Hampshire Township in Clinton County, to George and Laura Andersen Bott. He married Alta Ohlsen Jan. 31, 1934, in Clinton. She died in 1964. He married Marcella Hart Oct. 4, 1967. She died in July, 1983. He was educated in Hampshire township schools and farmed for many years in Clinton County. He was a member of Clinton Moose Lodge, Clinton County Farm Bureau and the Odeon Association. He was a 4-H leader in Clinton County for many years. Survivors include a son, Dale E. Bott, Clinton; a daughter, Mrs. Louis (Roberta) Jurgersen, Clinton; six grandchildren; stepchildren and stepgrandchildren; and two brothers, Peter and George Bott, both of Clinton. He was preceded in death by two wives and a brother.
