The Clinton Herald Monday April 20, 1981 p. 13 The funeral was 10 a.m. today in St. Irenaeus Catholic Church for Sean Joseph McEleney, 16 of 515 Woodlands Drive. He died early Saturday morning in his home from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Burial was in St. Irenaeus Cemetery. The Rev. James Lawrence officiated. Visitation was Saturday in Snell-Zornig Funeral Home, Clinton. Pallbearers were Bud Arey, Fran Marn, Steve Bromley, Dick Voda, Greg Cook, Wayne Lind, Russell Luckritz and Greg Graf. Sean was born Oct. 2, 1964, in Clinton, to Jame E. and Mary "Sharon" Streit McEleney. He was a life-ling Clinton resident, a sophomore at Clinton High School and a member of St. Irenaeus Church. Survivors include his parents; three brothers, Kevin, Darin and James E. Jr., all at home; two sisters, Maureen of Phoenix, Ariz., and Kelly at home; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Streit of Clinton.
