Stephen Edward Baasch, four day-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Baasch of Hauntown south of here, died at 4:30 p.m. Friday in State University hospital, Iowa City. The funeral was planned for 2:30 p.m. today in the Allen funeral home, Sabula, Rev. Phillip Mueller of Calvary Lutheran church officiating. Burial was to be in Babyland of Savanna cemetery. The baby was born Aug. 6 in Savanna City hospital, the son of Edward and Shirley Andersen Baasch. Surviving are the parents, a sister, Debra Kay; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Eldred Andersen of Savanna and Mr. and Mrs. Hans Baasch of Hauntown; great-grandmothers, Mrs. Sylvia Schuler of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Anna Struve of Andover, and great-great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Andersen of Savanna.
