Marvin Frahm, 81, of 1238 8th Ave. N., died Tuesday in Bluff Terrace Nursing Home. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in Pape Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl Ferguson of Miles Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Clinton Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Pallbearers will be Roland Wiese, Harry Wiese, Robert Frahm, Stuart Wilson, John Mommsen Jr. and Emmett Matthiesen. Mr. Frahm was born Jan. 7, 1899, in Miles, to John and Amelia Struve Frahm. He married Lavina Matthiesen Dec. 2, 1931, in Freeport, Ill. He farmed in the Miles area on the farm on which he was born, retiring in 1960. He was a member of Miles Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Joan Fritcher of Clinton; two grandchildren; and two brothers, a twin, Harvey of Clinton and Alvin of Miles. He was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
