The Clinton Herald Friday May 9, 1984 p. 12 Mrs. Alvin (Lillian) Frahm, 88, of Miles, died Thursday in Wyndcrest Nursing Home. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Miles Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Earl Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in Miles Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Miller Funeral Home in Preston. Pallbearers, all grandsons, will be Mark and Kent Stickler, John Wilson, Tom Robinson, Brent Rittmer and Gary and Michael Frahm. Mrs. Frahm was born Aug. 13, 1895, in Racine, Wis., to Nels and Jenny Johnson Hansen. She married Alvin Frahm Feb. 23, 1926, and the couple farmed near Miles until retiring in 1961. She was a member of Miles Presbyterian Church and the UPW of the church. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Stuart (Jeanette) Wilson of Miles and Mrs. Fred (Dorothy) Stickler of Moline; a son, Robert of Miles and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother.
