The Clinton Herald Monday September 2, 1996 p. 7 Lavina A. Frahm, 89, of Alverno Health Care Facility, formerly of 1238 Eighth Ave. North, died Saturday at Samaritan North. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pape Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Hamilton of First Congregational Church officiating. Visitation will be 3 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Roland, Harry, Carlton and Lynn Wiese, Jay Hammerly and Stephen Randall. Honorary pallbearers will be Emmett Matthiesen and John Mommsen Jr. She was born Nov. 4, 1906 in Bryant, to Carl and Anne Schrum Matthiesen. She married Marvin J. Frahm, Dec. 2, 1931, in Freeport, Ill. He died in 1980. She was a member of First Congregational Church and the Clinton Womens Bowling Association. Survivors include a daughter, Joan Fritcher of Clinton; two granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Iris LeRol of Clinton; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother. Death date: Aug. 31, 1996.
