The Clinton Herald Tuesday May 7, 1974 p. 9 Mrs. Lula A. Lamborn, 83, formerly of the Clinton area, died Monday morning in Battle Creek, Mich. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. in Pape Funeral Home with the Rev. James Ellison, Bellevue Presbyterian Church, officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and burial will be in the Miles Cemetery. Pallbearers are Robert Frahm, Stuart Wilson, Erwin Fredericksen, Reynold Ericksen, Fred Strickler and Loren Nolting. She was born to John and Amelia Struve Frahm on Aug. 19, 1890, in Miles, and married Robert P. Lamborn on June 27, 1918, in Davenport. He preceded her in death in 1969. Mrs. Lamborn was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Bellevue; and the OES Chapter 451, Preston. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Amy) Mills, Battle Creek, Mich.; one grandson, three brothers, Alvin of Miles, and Marvin and Harvey, Clinton. Mrs. Lamborn was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
