The Clinton Herald Friday September 18, 1992 p. 10 The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church for Edith F. Struve, 84, of 308 S. Bluff Blvd., who died Wednesday at Samaritan South. The Rev. Robert Wegehoft will officiate. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Pape Funeral Home and from 9:30 a.m. until the service hour Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Shelly Jr., Eugene and Arnold Johnson, Roger Struve, Richard Schwartz and Earl Bartels. Mrs. Struve was born March 10, 1908, in Lincoln Township, Clinton County to A.G. and Matilda Carlson Johnson. She married Clarence J. Struve, May 21, 1930, in Clinton. He died in 1979. She was a 1924 graduate of Clinton High School and was a life-time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Dorcas Circle of the church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Janice) Wede of Goose Lake; a son, John G. of Goose Lake; five grandchildren; and a sister, Mabel Anderson of Rockford. She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. Death date: Sept. 16, 1992.
