The Clinton Herald Tuesday March 11, 1947 p. 10 Ernest William Schwartz, 60, of near Clinton, died at 5:15 a.m. today in his home. The body was taken to the Pape funeral home pending funeral arrangements. Mr. Schwartz was born Nov. 3, 1886, in Center township, the son of William J. and Minnie Heiden Schwartz. He was graduated from Lyons high school and married Bertha Struve Jan. 20, 1932. He was a member of the Community church. Survivors are his widow, one son, Richard, and two sisters, Misses Alma and Viola Schwartz all of Clinton. Preceding him in death were his parents, one sister, Mollie, and four brothers Carl, Dr. Reinhart, Fred and Edward.
