The Clinton Herald Thursday October 6, 1977 p. 15 Mrs. Bernice A. Struve, 65, Sabula, died Wednesday at Mercy Hospital, Clinton. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Calvary Lutheran Church, Sabula. The Rev. Gerald Gjerde will officate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation will be form 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Allen-Law-Jones Funeral Home, Sabula. She was born Feb. 15, 1912, in Jackson County, to Earl and Rosa Hass Rogers. She married Harvey Struve Oct. 8, 1933, in Clinton. He died in 1970. Mrs. Struve was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church. Survivors include two sons, Roger, Sabula, and Larry Clinton; a daughter, Mrs. James (Susan) Brundage, Sabula; 12 grandchildren; two brothers, Benjamin and Merle, Sabula, and six sisters, Mrs. Marvin (Leona) Guthardt, Princeton, Mrs. Ernest (Jeanette) Beehler, Buffalo, Mo., Mrs. Roland (Beatrice) Flemming, Mrs. Richard (Violet) Smith and Mrs. Arnold (Diane) Jess, all of Sabula, and Mrs. Graden (Ila) Lappe, Des Moines. She was preceded in death by a son, a grandson, two brothers and two sisters.
