The Clinton Herald Wednesday September 21, 1983 p. 18 Mrs. Marie A. Struve, 88, of 1514 N. 3rd St., died Tuesday in The Alverno. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Stephen's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Eugene Henry officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in Pape Funeral Home and from 9:30 a.m. to the funeral Sunday in the church. Pallbearers, all grandnephews, will be Leland Haring, Gary, Richard and Lucas Madsen, Alvin J. David and Robert Dohrn. Mrs. Struve was born Jan. 22, 1895, in Clinton, to Jebbe and Berthine Moeller Madsen. She married Roy A. Struve April 24, 1924, in Clinton. He died in 1975. She was a member St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, Lyons Chapter Eastern Star, Ladies Aid, Gertrude Guild and Altar Guild, all at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church. Survivors include a son, Roy J. Struve of Clinton, two granddaughters, five stepgrandsons, and 14 stepgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter and several brothers and sisters.
