The Clinton Herald Thursday May 31, 1984 p. 18 Mrs. Flossie M. Baasch, 91, of Route 3, died Wednesday in Jane Lamb Health Center. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. John's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Wayne Brinkmann officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday in Clinton chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Saturday at the church. Pallbearers will be Ernie Struve, George Struve, Arlo Ketelsen, Joe Cotton, Herman Aude and Vernon Schwartz. Mrs. Baasch was born June 15, 1892, in Hauntown, to Paul H. and Anna Klinge Struve. She married Hans G. Baasch on June 20, 1918, in Clinton. She was a life member of St. John's Lutheran Church and a member of the church's senior citizens group. Survivors include three daughters, Georgiana and Pauline, both of Clinton, and Mrs. Elvis (Evelyn) Wieck of rural Calamus; a son, Eddward H. of rural Clinton; four granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, six brothers, a sister in infancy and a grandson.
