Ernest William Struve, 70, of rural Perry, died Monday at Mercy Medical Center, Des Moines. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Hastings Funeral Home, Perry. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the friends and family having a special gathering from 6 to 7 p.m. Survivors include a niece and nephew; and several cousins, including Pauline and Georgiana Baasch, both of Clinton. Death date: Feb. 2, 1998.
