The Clinton Herald Virtus H. Struve, 69, 2423 N. 3rd St., died at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in Jane Lamb hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Pape Funeral home with Rev. H. Louise Miller officating. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery. Pallbearers will be Roy J. and David Struve, William Miller, Carl Matje, Edward Ridyard and Arnold Trantow. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3:30 p.m. Thursday. Mr. Struve was born Nov. 4, 1898 in Hauntown, the son of William and Dora Myers Struve. He was married June 29, 1952 to Grace Logan. He was an employee of Central Steel Tube Co., and a member of the First Spiritualist church and Odeon association. He is survived by his wife; four brothers, Roy A. of Clinton, and Lyal, Harvey, and Leslie, of Almont; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and one brother.
