Dale L. Harvey, 74, of Morrison, died Saturday Nov. 12, 2005 at Mercy North Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. The Rev. Daniel Swinson, pastor of Morrison United Methodist Church, will be officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison, with military funeral honors.

He was born Nov. 16, 1930, in Prophetstown, Ill., to Lloyd and Jennie Sasson Harvey. He married Betty A. Seyller on Nov. 24, 1961, in Morrison.

He attended Morrison grade and high schools.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He farmed in the rural Morrison area.

He was a member of Morrison United Methodist Church, Whiteside County (Ill.) Farm Bureau and Morrison VFW Post 8281.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Bonnie Harvey of Barstow, Ill.; one son, Gary Harvey of Morrison; three grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Darlene (Don) Foster of Morrison.

Memorials may be made to Morrison United Methodist Church’s Sunday school.
