BELLEVUE —Elaine Hasibar, 64, of Bellevue and formerly of Chicago, died Wednesday at her home.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. The Rev. Stephen Meyer will be officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Kingery Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Bellevue.

She was born Feb. 4, 1941, in Chicago to Floyd and Beatrice Pekarek Meyer.

She graduated from Gage Park High School. She married Thomas Hasibar on Feb. 17, 1962, in Chicago.

She retired from the Cook County Sheriff’s Office where she worked as a bailiff. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Thomas (Elaine) Hasibar Jr. of Aberdeen, Idaho, and Michael (Mary) Hasibar of Pocatello, Idaho; two grandchildren; her mother, Beatrice Meyer of Chicago; one sister, Carolyn Petriatis of Chicago; two brothers, William (Pamela) Meyer of Bellevue and Robert (Josephine) Meyer of Tinley Park, Ill.; one brother-in-law, Richard Hasibar of Bellevue; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one brother-in-law and sister-in-law.
