MORRISON, Ill. — Gerald K. Anderson, 64, of Morrison, died Friday Nov. 4, 2005 at Mercy North Hospital.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Bethesda Lutheran Church, Morrison. The service is preceded by a 10:15 a.m. family prayer service at the church. The Rev. Susan Davenport will be officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison.

He was born May 25, 1941, in Freeport, Ill., to N. Kenneth and J. Louise Smith Anderson. He married Monica J. Nielsen on July 10, 1983, in Morrison.

He was educated in the rural Clyde Township Grade School and attended Morrison High School.

He worked with Northwestern Steel and Wire, Sterling, Ill., for 31 years until
his retirement in 1997.

He was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church, Morrison, and the Morrison Kiwanis
Club.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Cinda (Ron) Coleman of Cedar City, Utah, and DeAnna Coers of Morrison; two sons, Brian (Tiffany) Coers of Fort Worth, Texas, and Kent Anderson of Georgia; seven grandchildren; and one brother, David (Kathy) Anderson of Machesney, Ill.

Memorials will be established.
