Requiem high mass for Curtis R. Lehmkuhl,32, 616 10th Ave S. who was killed in an automobile accident early today , will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St.Mary Church. Burial will be in Clintn Memorial Park. Friends may call after noon Tuesday at the Snell-Smith funeral home, where the parish rosary will be recited at 7.30 p.m. Tuesday.
Curtis Rudolph Lehmkuhl was born March 2, 1933 in Preston, the son of Rudolph and Irene Steenfatt Lehmkuhl. He was educated in the Clinton public shcools, graduating form Clinton high school in 1951. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was employed by John Deere Company in Moline. He was married to Janice DeWitt of Clinton.
Surviving are two sons, Steven and Michael at home; one daughter Kathleen also at home; his parents of Clinton; two brothers Richard of Clinton and Terry of DeBerry,Fla; two sisters Mrs James(Judy)Whitney of Clinton and Mrs. Larry (Sarah) Greenwolt(?) of Goose Lake; maternal grandparents, Mr and Mrs Carl Steenfatt of Clinton; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
