SAVANNA, Ill. — Janice M. O’Meara Felton, 69, of Big Meadows Nursing Home in Savanna and formerly of Dubuque, died Tuesday Oct. 25, 2005, at the nursing home.

There will be no services or burial. Her body will be donated to the University of Iowa College of Medicine for scientific purposes.

She was born April 30, 1936, to W. Louis and Eleanor Jaeger O’Meara. She married John G. Felton on Nov. 12, 1955, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dubuque. He died in 1998.

She graduated from the Visitation Academy, Dubuque, in 1954.

Survivors include one daughter, Patty Schap of Dubuque; three sons, Mike (Nancy) Felton of Monticello and Steve (Lorie) and Tom Felton, both of Dubuque; 10 grandchildren; and one aunt, Virginia Kramer of Dubuque.

A Janice M. Felton memorial has been established.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
