Florence M. "Todd" Bearbower, 89, of Clinton, Iowa, died Wednesday, June 1, 2005, at the Klein Center in Burlington, Iowa. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2005, at the Pape Funeral Home, Clinton. Visitation will be from noon until the service hour Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tom Hardison, George Bowling, Shawn Bearbower, Scott Kramer, Sr., Joe Hardison, and Scott Kramer, Jr.
Florence was born April 29, 1918, in Clinton, the daughter of Lawrence and Elizabeth (Collis) Greenwalt. She married Allan Bearbower on October 2, 1934, in Morrison, Ill. Allan died in 1976. Todd was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, crocheting and helping her neighbors and friends who needed rides around town for errands and appointments.
Todd is survived by a son, Allan (Judy) Bearbower, of Davenport; a daughter, Zella (Bob) Kramer, of Fort Madison, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; a brother, Lawrence (Detes) Greenwalt, of Clinton; and a sister, Marjorie (LaVern) Soper, of Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Deborah Hardison, in 2001 and three brothers.
