Genevieve Ruth Kuhl, 91, of Miles, died Friday at Wyndcrest Nursing Home, Clinton.

Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Miller-Law-Jones Funeral Home, Preston. Burial will be in the Miles City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

She was born Nov. 14, 1913, in rural Jackson County to Lee Ernest and Jennie Laing Taplin. She married Leon "Sam" Kuhl on Jan. 14, 1945, in Illinois.

She worked all of her life on the farm with her husband where they raised poultry and operated the Kuhl Hatchery.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Susan (Otis) Welch of Sabula; one sister, Marge Hoyer of Sabula; one brother, Howard Taplin of Savanna, Ill.; two grandchildren; and seven nieces and three nephews.
