Cynthia Rose Gruntorad, 47, of Clinton, died Friday at her home.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Schmitz Funeral Home, Clinton, with the Rev. John Stack officiating. Burial will be in the Villa Nova Cemetery, rural Clinton County. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Joe McDonnell Jr., Gary Taintor Jr., Charlie O'Shogay, David O'Shogay Jr., Daniel Dwire Jr. and Patrick DeMarr, Jason Everson and Tom Gruntorad.

She was born Dec. 27, 1957, in Clinton to Alfred and Beatrice DeMarr O'Shogay.

She attended Clinton schools.

She was a lifetime member of the Objibway Indian Tribe Lac Courte Oreilles, Hayward, Wis.

Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Janice (Gary) Tainter of New Post, Wis., Mrs. Faith (Joseph) McDonnell of Camanche and Corrine Dwire of Clinton; five brothers, David O'Shogay of Cedar Rapids, Alfred O'Shogay Jr. of Clinton, Everett (Brenda) O'Shogay of Cedar Rapids, Gerald (Karen) O'Shogay of Spokane, Wash., and Darrell O'Shogay of Hayward; her former husband, Jim Gruntorad; and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.

The family requests that memorials be made to the family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one niece and two great-nephews.

Death Date: Sept. 30, 2005
