Patricia E. Rausenberger, 79, of Clinton, passed away, Thursday, August 11, 2022 at MercyOne – Clinton.

Funeral Services will be 11:00am Monday, August 15, 2022 at the First United Methodist Church – Clinton. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Ron Kircher, Larry Howe, Bill Cotter, Dick Sack, Tom Tegeler, and Paul Payne. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00am to the service time at the church. The Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Patricia Elizabeth Kies was born on October 21, 1942 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Roy and Beverly (Collentine) Kies. She was a graduate of Waterloo East High School and later graduated from the University of Northern Iowa receiving her bachelors degree in 1964 and masters in 1968. She married Richard Rausenberger on January 29, 1966 in Waterloo.

Pat was devoted to her family and cherished her time with her children, grandchildren, and relatives. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and activities. She loved spending time with her friends’ playing cards, golfing, and traveling on many trips with family and friends to foreign countries. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church – Clinton, PEO, and American Association of University Women.

Pat is survived by her husband: Richard of Clinton; her children: John (Michelle) Rausenberger of Clinton; their children: Jim, Mike and Ryan; Bridget (Dan) Knight of Bettendorf; and their children: Lauren, Lisa, and Jake; and Joseph (Erin) Rausenberger of Bettendorf, Iowa; and their children: Kara, Kelsey, Kate, Kylie, and Tom; her siblings: Thomas Kies of Waterloo, Iowa, Kathleen (Dave) Bowersox of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister: Mary Ann, a brother: Michael; sister: Ginni; a sister-in-law: Betty; brother-in-law: Roy.
