Mrs. Robert Dougherty,51, of R.3 died Wednesday night in Mercy hospital where she had been a patient since Monday. The body is at the Shadduck funeral home where friends my begin calling this evening.
Funeral sevices will be at 2:30p.m. Saturday in the funeral home, with Rev C.E. Thompson, pastor of the Full Gospel Tabernacle, officiating. Burial will be in the Springdale Cemetery.
Marjorie Lucille Coon was born Nov. 29, 1907 at Oxford Junction, to Mr and Mrs (Price) Eugene Coon, and lived here many years. She was Married Aug 2 1941,to Robert Dougherty.
Surviving is the husband; a daughter,Mrs Larry (Rosemary) Humphrey of Clinton; 2 son, Carl and Eugene Kassel of Clinton; a step-son Ernest Dougherty at Davenport; her mother Mrs Bertha Coon, in Clinton; 2 grandsons; a sister, Mrs Agnes Gerdts of Bettendorf; 8 brothers, Marian Coon , Clifford Coon, Clarence Coon, Russell Coon, all of Davenport; Robert Coon of Savanna, ILL., and Mervil Coon, Howard Coon and Martin Coon , all of Clinton and nieces and nephews.
Preceeding her in death were her father and 2 sisters.
