Mrs. Henry A.Schimins Sr.

Mrs. Henry A. Schimins Sr.,74 of 1302 s 9th St., died Tuesday morning at Mercy Hospital where she had been a patient for about two weeks. The body is in the Pape funeral home where friends may call after 7 p.m. today

The parish rosary will be recited in the funeral home at 7 p.m. Thursday. A requiem high mass will be celebrated at 9 A.M. Friday in St. Mary's church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Josephine Tomascheshi was born Feb. 22, 1886 in Berlin, Germany , the daughter of Joseph and Mary Tomascheski. She came to the United States in 1888.
She was married Jan. 30,1906 in Minonk, Ill to Henry A. Schimins(Schiminski).

She was a member of St. Mary's church, and the Altar and Rosary society of St Mary's.

Survivors include her husband ; two sons Jospeh of Clinton and Henry Jr. of Des Moines;three daughters Mrs. Andrew (Mary Clare)Jensen, Mrs Cecil (Josephine)Bentley , and Mrs Herman(Margaret)Bertrand of Clinton; one sister ,Mary Blackmer of Minonk,ILL.;two brothers, Stanley of Winona,ILL., and Joseph of Paradise Calif.;15 grandchildren and 6 great children. She was precededin death by her parents and three sisters.
