Funeral services were held Saturday in Zion Lutheran church, Clinton, for Mrs. Walter Wessel, 79. Entombment was in Rose of Sharon Mausoleum at Clinton Memorial Park.

Mrs. Wessel was the mother of Winston Wessel of Clarence. She died last Wednesday at Jane Lamb hospital, Clinton.

Eleanor Eggers was born at Bryant. She married Mr. Wessel in Lyons on Aug. 14, 1912.

Besides her son Winston, she is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. William Hyde of Clinton; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister.
