Last rites for Dr. Leonard A. Bowstead, 56, Lebanon, Ky., brother of Dr. Warren E. Bowstead of Lowden, were held Nov. 17 at DeWitt with burial in DeWitt. Dr. Bowstead died at Lebanon, Ky. Nov. 14.

He was born in DeWitt. He left DeWitt 20 years ago. He married Elizabeth Chandler in 1937.

Dr. Bowstead is survived by his wife; a son, John, New York City; 2 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Boyd Milroy, Vinton and 3 brothers, Dr. Warren E., Lowden; Emerson, Davenport and Dr. Thomas Jr., DeWitt.
