The Clinton Herald Monday April 7, 1986 p. 10 Lyle T. Mallary, 77, of 249 20th Place, died Saturday in University Hospitals, Iowa City. Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church with the Rev. Lou Leonhardt officiating. A prayer service will preced the Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Schmitz Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation wil be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home where a parish rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Pallbearers will be members of Clinton Knights of Columbus. Mr. Mallary was born May 28, 1908, in Clinton, to John and Bridget Behan Mallary. He married Eileen Golden, Feb. 14, 1935, in Clinton. He was employed as a farmer and later custodian for St. Patrick's Catholic Church until retiring in 1984. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Hernan (Brigid) Lazaro of Downers Grove, Ill,. Mrs. Donald (Martha) Blong of Panama City, Fla., and Mrs. Robert (Margaret) Clausen of Clinton; four sons, Peter of Atlanta, Ga., Paul of Algona, Wash., Dr. John of Panama City, Fla., and Michael of Cordova; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Lynch of Vero Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Jo (Marian) Verboom of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; and two brothers, Eugene E. of Clinton and Dr. Charles of Modesto, Calif. He was preceded in death by two sisters.
