The Clinton Herald May 18, 1912 P. 6 Patrick O"Conner Dies at Hospital Well Known Lyons Resident Dies After Brief Illness at Mercy Hospital Funeral Monday Body Was Taken to Fulton Where the Funeral Will be Held Monday Morning at 9 o'clock - Death Was Due to a Complication of Diseases Patrick Henry O'Conner, aged 62 years, died Friday night at 7:30 o'clock at Mercy hospital in this city where he has been confined for the past week. Death was sudden and was due to a complication of diseases with which he has been ailing for a number of years. The body was taken to Fulton where the funeral will be held Monday morning at 9 o'clock at the Fulton Catholic church, Rev. Father Clancy, officiating. Interment will be in the Fulton cemetery. Mr. O'Conner was very well known in Lyons and surrounding territory, having resided here for many years. He was born March 19, 1847 in Ireland and came to this country, landing in Canada, with his parents when but a child. When a young man he came to Illinois and later to Lyons. He was married in Fulton May 28, 1870 to Miss Henrietta Tritschler. Mrs. O'Conner passing away December 19, 1911, in this city. For many years Mr. O'Conner was employed by local railroads. The deceased leaves to mourn his death, two sisters, Mrs. James Holleran of Lyons and Mrs. John Holleran of Fulton and one brother, Garrett O'Conner of Fulton.
