The Clinton Herald Wednesady May 12, 1976 p. 12 Mrs. Leo (Estella) Connel, 64, 215 4th St., DeWitt, died early today in her home. Mass of the resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church by the Rev. Anthony Conrad. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Hanrahan Funeral Home. The Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday by the parish Altar and Rosary Society and by parish members at 8 p.m. Estella Welsh was born July 22, 1911, in Clinton County, daughter of Richard and Estella McDonald Welsh. She was married June 18, 1933, in Welton to Leo Connell. They had lived in DeWitt 22 years. Mrs. Connell is survived by her husband; three sons, Wayne of Clinton, Al of Welton and Jerry of Walker; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Senatra, Ames; and three sisters, Mrs. Eve Wenzlick, Seattle, Wash., Mrs. Alyce Burke, Arlington, Va.; and Geraldine Welsh, Las Vegas, Nev. Two brothers preceded her in death.
