The Clinton Herald Monday March 24, 1958 p. 11 Henry Gribbon, 56, died about 7 a.m. today in his DeWitt home following a short illness. The body reposes in the Hanrahan funeral home where friends may call after 6 p.m. Tuesday. Date of the requiem mass in St. Joseph's Catholic church has not yet been announced. Mr. Gribbon was born Dec. 11, 1901, near DeWitt, the son of William H. and Alice Redmand Gribbon. He lived in this area all his life and for the last 14 years in DeWitt where he made his home with an aunt, Miss Elizabeth Gribbon. Surviving are three sisters, Lucille of Ft. Wayne, Ind., Mrs. Mildred Wolfe of Lost Nation and Mrs. Mary McDonnell of DeWitt, and two brothers, William of DeWitt and Jack of Maquoketa.
