The Clinton Herald, Friday August 24, 1990, p. 12 Mildred Wolfe, 83, of the Kahl Home for the Aged, Davenport, formerly of Lost Nation, died Thursday in the home. The funeral will be 9 a.m. Saturday in the Kahl Home Chapel, with the Rev. Dan Mannhardt officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in Halligan-McCabe Funeral Home, Davenport, where a 7 p.m. rosary will be recited. Burial will be Sacred Heart Cemetery, Lost Nation, with the Rev. William Reynolds officiating. Mrs. Wolfe was born Oct. 18, 1906, in DeWitt, to William H. and Alice Redmond Gribbon. She married Phillip J. Wolfe, Feb. 12, 1930, in DeWitt. He died Aug. 6, 1979. She was a school teacher and farmed with her husband in Lost Nation. She was a former member of Sacred Heart Church in Lost Nation and its altar and rosary society. Survivors include nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. Death date: Aug. 23, 1990.
