Allan F. Stuedemann, 70, of Camanche, died Fri., April 8, at Samaritan Hospital North, Clinton.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Mon., April 11, at Schutz Funeral Home, DeWitt. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery, DeWitt. The Rev. Edythe Hill officiated.
Allan Stuedemann was born April 19, 1923, in Clinton, to Bernhardt and Marie Esther Illemann Stuedemann. He married Alice Truelsen on Feb. 22, 1949, at Grace Lutheran Church, DeWitt.
The couple farmed north of DeWitt. Mr. Stuedemann later worked at Central Steel Tube Co., Clinton, until 1981.
He liked music, enjoyed playing the saxophone and playing cards.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Vicki (Mrs. Harry "Bill") Stichter, McCausland; sons, Calvin, Princeton; and Roger, Columbia, Conn.; two step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Helen (Mrs. Marvin) Hansen, DeWitt.
Mr. Stuedemann was preceded in death by his parents, three infant sons and a sister.
