Charles "Chuck" E. Moeller, 76, of Tipton, died Friday, January 1, 2016, in his home.

Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:45 a.m., Monday, January 4, 2016, at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton.

Funeral services will be Noon, Monday, January 4, 2016, at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. Burial and graveside services will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery, Toronto, Iowa.

Charles Edward Moeller was born June 7, 1939, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Peter and Dorothy (Paetow) Moeller. He attended Oxford Junction High School before serving his country for 4 years in the United States Navy. Charles married Carolyn Fox and they were blessed with two children. They later divorced, but their friendship continued. Charles worked on various farms as a hired hand before his employment with North Star Steel, where he continued until retirement. He also had an eye for a good sports car and enjoyed working on them before taking them out for an occasional race! Loving and devoted, dedicated and funny, the highlight of Charles' days was spending time with all his family.

He is survived by one daughter, Lori (Bryon) Arensdorf of Tipton; one son, Lonnie (Laura Wooten) Moeller of Cedar Rapids; one brother, Mike Moeller of Toronto; three grandchildren, Jacob (McKenzie) Arensdorf, Katie Arensdorf and Makayla Moeller; one niece, Michele Moeller; five great-nieces and nephews; and four great-great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, ex-wife, Carolyn Hain, and two nephews, Mickey and Mark Moeller.
