The Clinton Daily Herald; April 5, 1909 p. 6 Funeral Services Held This Morning Remains of the Late Patrick Jordan Brought to St. Irenaeus Church This Morning - Interment in Calvary Cemetery At St. Irenaeus church at 9 o'clock this morning occurred the funeral of the late Patrick Ryan for many years a resident of Lyons. Death come to him at Lockport, Ill. on the third. He was about 70 years of age. During his residence here he was recognized as an honest upright man, well worthy of the respect and esteem shown him by all. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Mamie Duffy with whom he had lived at Lockport, and Mrs. Martha Schell of Chicago. A number of his old friends gathered at the church this morning to pay their last tributes of esteem. Requiem high mass was said by the pastor, the choir ably assisting. The pall bearers wre T.J. Hudson, Maurice Foran, Patrick Nutley, John Mulligan, J.P. Cahill and M.E. Jordan. The remains were laid to rest in Calvary cemetery.
The Clinton Mirror Saturday April 10, 1909 Died at Lockport, Ill., April 3rd, Patrick Jorday formerly of this city, aged 70 years. His remains were brought to Calvary cemetery for Interment.
