James J. McGarry died yesterday evening at 6:30 o'clock at his home four miles north of DeWitt, after an illness of several days' duration with pneumonia. Deceased was about 30 years of age and is survived by his wife and three children, his mother, Mrs. W. A. McGarry; three brothers, Frank of Davenport, John and Justin of DeWitt, and two sisters, Mrs. W. T. Delmage and Miss Dorothy of DeWitt. Mr. McGarry was a prominent man in the community and his sudden taking away is greatly deplored. Arrangements for the funeral have not yet been completed.
