Funeral services for the late Mrs. H. G. Dierks were held this afternoon at the family residence, 1206 North Second street, with Rev. Hein of the Zion Lutheran church officiating. Mrs. Ernest Miller and Mrs. A. H. Hammarstrom sang three selections during the service, "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere," "A Perfect Day" and "Good Night Beloved."
The four grandsons and two nephews were pall bearers. Interment was made in the family burying ground at Elvira cemetery.
Relatives attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Walda Dierks of Spirit Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Tietjens of Keniston, Canada, L. D. Dierks, Earl and De Ethel Ingwersen of Moline and Dorothy Dierks of Iowa City.
