David J. Ray age 73 of Clinton, passed away Friday Sept. 11, 2020 at his home. Cremation rites will be accorded. Burial will take place at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery at a later date. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com

David was born on Sept. 13, 1946 in Dubuque, IA, the son of Franklin and Isabelle (Ostander) Ray. He served in the US Army from 1964-1967. He graduated from Hamilton Technical College. He worked as a Electronic Technician for many years. Later in life, he became an ordained Reverend, which he was proud of.

David is survived by his three brothers, Ellas “Mike” Ray, Donald Ray, and Harry Ray all of Clinton; two sisters, Julie Guilliams of Fenton, IL and Christine (Mark) Werner of Fulton, IL; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside Service:
