Lucile Dorothy Feddersen age 100 of Andover, passed away Friday, August 07, 2020 at the Alverno. A funeral service will be held 10:30 AM Monday Aug. 10th at Faith Lutheran Church in Andover. Visitation will be held Monday 9:00 AM until the service hour at the church. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery in Clinton. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Lucile was born on the family farm in Clinton County, Iowa on June 8, 1920, the daughter of Peter and Meta (Dierks) Rittmer. She married Leon Feddersen on September 24, 1938 in Preston, IA. Lucile worked at the post office in Andover and also at AC Nielsen, Clinton. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Andover. She enjoyed gardening and quilting, which she made for her family and for the church.
Lucile is survived by her three children, Karen (James) Ohrt of North Hollywood, CA, Lonney (Linda) Feddersen of Cedar Rapids, IA and Richard (Lois) Feddersen of Clinton; 9 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 13 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother and a sister.
