FINCH.

Benjamin Finch, aged 35 years, died at the home of his father, A. M. Finch, August 27, 1894 at 5:15 a.m. He leaves a wife and child. Deceased was a prosperous farmer, owning a farm near Bryant. In 1891, owing to the ill health of his wife, they removed to California, where he engaged in the lumber business. His wife regained her health in a great measure, but he was taken with lagrippe, suffered a relapse and returned to Lyons about six months ago, hoping the change would prove beneficial. All that medical skill and loving friends could do was done, but without avail. He was an upright, conscientious man, beloved by those who knew him and will be mourned sincerely.

The funeral services will occur at the home of A. M. Finch, North Seventh street at 4:30 p.m. today, and the remains will be taken to Vernon Prairie for interment.
