Impressive funeral services for the late William Lake were held at the First Baptist church at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, Rev. G. D. Rogers officiating.

The pall bearers were Arthur Burdick, Frank G. Harrar, Judge A. P. Barker, W. H. Poston, F. S. Roberts and John L. Wilson.

Dr. Rogers preached an eloquent sermon, eulogizing the life of the deceased. Miss Olive Barker sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and by request of the family the men's choir sang "Jesus Lover of My Soul", which had been a favorite hymn of the deceased.

At the grave in Springdale the Rose Croix chapter had charge of the services.

Mrs. T. N. Davis of Grand Meadow, Minn, a niece of the deceased
Sebastian Lake of Sac City
Charles Lake of LaPorte, Ind
Mrs. Jennie Higby of Greenland, Colo.
