The funeral of the late Mrs. Henry Saur will be held Monday from the Bragonier and Behr undertaking parlors and will be private.
Mrs. Henry C. Saur passed away yesterday afternoon after a brief illness of pneumonia, following an attack of influenza.
Carrie Margaret McConnell was born in Menlo, Iowa, October 5th, 1888. She moved to Clinton with her parents at the age of 7 years and was educated in the public schools and attended the high school. She was united with the Congregational church at the age of 16 years and was a faithful member to the end. She was married to Henry C. Saur in 1908. To this union were born three children -- Maxine, 9; Dewitt 8 and Russell, 9, who with their father are left to mourn the loss of a loving wife and mother. She is also survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. B. McConnell of Menlo, Iowa, two brothers, Wilbur in France and Herbert of Clinton; one sister, Belle of Menlo, Iowa; four uncles W. J. McCoy of Thomson; L. F. McCoy of Viola, Ill.; George McCoy of Casey, Iowa, and Peter McConnell of LeClaire; also an aunt, Mrs. L. F. McCoy of Viola, Ill.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Henry Saur was held at 11 o'clock this morning from Bragonier and Behr's undertaking establishment on Third Street. Rev. George R. Cady, pastor of the First Congregational church officiating. Burial was in Springdale cemetery.

Among those from out of the city who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. A. B. McConnell of Menlo, Iowa, parents of the deceased, Miss Adabelle Saur of Menlo, a daughter, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. McCoy of Thomsen, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. T. S. McCoy of Vicia, Ill.; Peter McConnell of LeClaire, Charles Saur of Hortonville, Wis., and Mr. and Mrs. Hans Hoenecke of Davenport.
