CALAMUS, IA -- Alfred Keith, a resident of Clinton county for over 60 years, died at Jane Lamb hospital last night at 9:15 as a result of injuries received when he was kicked by a horse Saturday evening while doing chores at home, six miles northeast of Calamus.
He leaves his wife, Ida Keith, two sons, Will of Dixon, Iowa, and John of DeWitt, and one daughter, Mrs. Ed Mueller, of Grand Mound. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made.
