Arnold P. Andersen age 88 of Clinton, passed away Tuesday June 9, 2020 at his home. Private family service will be held 10:00 AM Monday June 15th at the Pape Funeral Home. Public visitation will be held Sunday 2 – 5 PM at the Pape Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Casket bearers will be his grandsons. Arnold was born Oct. 14, 1931 in Clinton, the son of Herman and Christine (Carstensen) Andersen. He was a veteran in the US Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. He married Joyce Jordan on April 29, 1953 in Preston; she died in 2014. Arnold was a dairy farmer in Clinton his whole life. He was a member of Elvira Zion Lutheran Church and the Miles American Legion for over 50 years.

Arnold is survived by his five children, Andrea (Gary) Hill of Camanche, Arlen (Rosie) Andersen of Charlotte, Aaron (Tycenia) Andersen, Annette (Tim) Bice of Murfreesboro, TN, and Alisa (Dennis) McClenning of Camanche; 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren; his sister, Jean Schulz of Miles; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and a great grandson.

Visitation:

Public visitation will be held Sunday 2 – 5 PM at the Pape Funeral Home.

Service:
