Nancy Jo Stevenson, 53, of Clinton, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2020, surrounded by her family. A celebration of Nancy’s life will begin at noon Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Lyon’s Tap, 224 Main Ave., Clinton. Online condolences may be expressed at snellzornig.com. Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory assisted the family with arrangements.

Nancy was born December 23, 1966 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Wayne and Patsy “Pat Lou” (Bryant) Lind. Nancy was a 1985 Clinton High School graduate. She married Stephen Meyer February 28, 1987 in Clinton; she later married Daniel Stevenson in Vail, CO in February of 1998, Daniel died February 18, 2002.

Nancy was an excellent bartender in Clinton for many years; she had also been employed at Hardee’s in Clinton.

Nancy was known for having a huge heart; she loved her family and loved being called “Granny” by her grandchildren. She was an avid Cubs and Raiders fan; she enjoyed walking, exercise, euchre, socializing and sunbathing.

Survivors include her children, Maria (Ben) Christenson of Davenport; Nicholas (Jordan) Parker of Clinton and Kaylee Stevenson of Cedar Falls, Iowa; grandchildren, Alexia, Xander, Aliya, Damon, Emreigh and Lyanna Jo, on the way; siblings, Wayne (Elizabeth) Lind, Jr., of Clinton; Kenny (Cindi) Lind of Camanche and Diane (Todd) Florence of Clinton; very special friends, Leslie Denton and Tina McQuistion and nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
