PETER RAFFERTY
After an illness of but a few days' duration, Peter Rafferty, a resident of Clinton for many years, passed away Sunday morning at the P. J. Scanlon home, 308 Ninth avenue, where he had been making his home. Death was due to pneumonia.
Deceased was born in Canada 62 year ago, and came to Clinton when a child, making his home here since. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. P. J. Scanlon of this city and Mrs. John Mannion of Omaha, Neb., also a brother Dennis Rafferty of Boone, Ia.
Funeral services will be held at St. Mary's church on Tuesday morning and burial will be made in St. Mary's cemetery.

PETER RAFFERTY
The funeral of the late Peter Rafferty was held this morning with services at St. Mary's church and burial in St. Mary's cemetery. The pallbearers were W. Z. Hooks, F. A. Dewell, J. P. Calnan, John Streib, Messrs Philip, Bert and John Streib.
Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Rafferty of Boone, and James, Philip and Paul Rafferty of Chicago, Ill., were here to attend the funeral.
