Ernest Wollmerstedt died yesterday afternoon at 4:30 at his home, 223 Ottawa street. The deceased was suffering for the past week with blood poison, from the effects of an injury received when he was caught between two cars while employed as car repairer for the C. & N. W. railway.

The deceased was born in Lyons Aug. 10, 1892, and was educated in the Lyons schools and has resided here all his life.

On Oct. 2, 1915, he was married to Miss Elizabeth Wilden of this city.

Left to mourn his loss besides his grief stricken wife, are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Wollmerstedt. He also leaves two half-brothers, Jake and Louie Mangel, of Almont.

The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 from the home. Rev. Lutz of Clinton will officiate and burial will be in Oakland cemetery.

Funeral services for the late Ernest Wollmerstedt were held this afternoon from the home at 223 Ottawa street. Rev. Lutz officiated. The Misses Gladys Shadduck and Kate Lundy sang several hymns. The pallbearers were the following friends of the deceased: Messrs. Harry Stevenson, Nate Carsten, Leo Lawrence, Warren Pratt, Joe Paneke and William Rosenbaum.

Burial was made in Oakland cemetery.
